Angie Trandai, CFP®
Founder & President,
Trandai Financial Solutions, LLC
Angie Trandai, CFP®, is a nationally recognized financial educator, author, speaker, and retirement specialist who helps successful professionals, business owners, and women on their own navigate the important financial decisions that come with approaching and living in retirement.
Since founding Trandai Financial Solutions, LLC in 1998, Angie has built her practice around one goal: helping clients create reliable retirement income, reduce unnecessary taxes, preserve the wealth they've worked hard to build, and leave a meaningful legacy for the people and causes they care about.
Angie is co-author of two retirement planning books, Retire Abundantly: The Proven Principles to Create More Worry-Free Retirement with Less Stress and Retire On Your Terms. Through her books, speaking, and educational work, she shares practical strategies designed to help individuals approach retirement with greater clarity, confidence, and peace of mind. Her insight has been featured on NBC, ABC, CBS, and FOX network affiliates, as well as in Yahoo Finance, MarketWatch, and New York Business Journal.
As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, Angie specializes in retirement income planning, tax-efficient distribution strategies, risk-managed growth, wealth preservation, Social Security, and legacy planning. She works extensively with physicians, dentists, pharmacists, engineers, business owners, and women navigating retirement on their own - helping each one turn complicated financial decisions into clear, coordinated strategies.
What sets Angie apart is a rare combination: a background in chemical engineering paired with decades of financial advisory experience. Her analytical training brings discipline and precision to every plan she builds, while her years working closely with families bring a deeply personal understanding of what really matters as people approach retirement. She's known for creative, "outside-the-box" thinking tailored to each client's individual circumstances - and is a member of the Financial Planning Association, Ed Slott's Master Elite IRA Advisor Group℠, and National Social Security Advisors℠.
Angie's personal story has shaped the way she serves others just as much as her professional training has. In 1979, she and her seven siblings came to America as refugees from Vietnam - an experience that instilled a resilience, discipline, and gratitude that still guide the way she leads her firm and cares for the families she serves. She has been recognized annually as a Five Star Professional Wealth Manager since 2012 and has also been named among Five Star Professional Women in Wealth.
Following the loss of her husband in 2024, Angie gained an even deeper, firsthand understanding of the financial and personal challenges women can face when navigating life on their own. That experience has only strengthened her commitment to helping women approaching or already in retirement pursue financial confidence, independence, and peace of mind for the next chapter of their lives.
Outside of her work, Angie is grounded by meditation, world travel, and meaningful time with her two daughters and their families. She believes true wealth isn't only about financial security - it's about the freedom to enjoy life, nurture meaningful relationships, and create lasting memories with the people you love.
